Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in winter is very unfriendly to man. But do not Kamchadals. The people there are wonderful, but the city itself, with its climate, planning and infrastructure is clearly not supportive of the people. To walk around the city are extremely uncomfortable. Instead of sidewalks on each side of the roadway - meter high snowdrifts. And often have to walk on a snowy mush in the general flow of vehicles, constantly dodging fountains from under the wheels. And in this there is no particular fault of city services. Each morning, the city met with shovels in their hands and are constantly on the radio broadcast, which roads are already open to traffic and the public being fierce fighting in the snow thrower.

Fighting machine snow thrower.
When I asked the locals about the rental cars in their city, the people advised me to forget about the idea of such a service ... they say they have never been, but demand always creates supply. The local newspaper with the ads, I found a few suggestions from the rental car.
- Hello. What do you have to rent a car?
- Pajero.
- A wheel on the right?
- And what happens somewhere else?

From the outset we wanted to get to the ocean ... the Pacific. Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is on the banks of the Avacha Bay. Although the Pacific Ocean coast is not far away, get on it was not easy. When all the road ended and the car had to leave, had to pass through the snowdrifts about 2 miles.
