Abandoned airfields I've seen a lot, but in the fact that one of them to this day is so much equipment I would hardly believe, if only he saw himself.

Since this airfield owned flight training center, a large part of it crowded trainer aircraft L-29 Delfin produced by Czechoslovak "Aero Vodochody," which were produced from 1963 to 1974.

Jet L-29 Delfin (NATO classification - Maya) was developed in the 60s of last century by Czech designers.
Before the advent of L-29 flight school students of the Soviet Union mastered flying on piston aircraft and then received a lot of problems when transplanted to the jet.
After successful trials in 1961, where the L-29 won the competition in the Polish TS-11 Iskra and the Soviet Yak-30 was built around 3600 L-29 aircraft that were used in all Air Force and the Warsaw Pact countries most in the USSR.

In the spring of 1959 during a flight test the first prototypes appeared that with the release of the brake pads vibration begins to tail. To eliminate it changed the contours of the rear brake and made a hole flaps. Moreover, first-through perforations made, and later, when the aircraft is manufactured in series, it became clear that to deal with vibration only enough holes on the back side shields.
This story reminded me of the anecdote from his childhood:
Came a graduate in KB work. And there on the construction of a new
Aircraft fighting: falling off the wing of the plane and all. Beams power set, fasteners, cables - nothing helps. Then he said:
- Do you hole at the base of the wing nasverlite!
- Are you ohrenel? Moreover fall off.
- Did you try it.
We tried ... Holds!
- How do you know that this will help?
- Have you ever seen a toilet paper on the hole-detachment
valas?

Performance characteristics of the L-29:
• Maximum speed: 820 km / h (according to other sources of 600km / h)
• Range: 900 km
• Service ceiling: 11,500 m

The aircraft is an all-metal monoplane with a tandem cockpit for the crew, where an instructor is located behind and slightly above the pilot's seat with retractable landing gear, T-shaped tail and right wing. The main advantages of the L-29 was the presence of a powerful engine and a little pressure off, allowing its use with untrained, sandy and swampy runways, in the embodiment as a trainer and light attack aircraft.

Already in '72 came the L-39, which was chosen as the new basic trainer aircraft of the Warsaw Pact, but the old L-29 continued to be used for a long time. At the airport they were flying ceased in the late nineties, and in Russia a few years ago there was a group of aerobatics "Sky Knights", who flew on the L-29.

The remains of the Mi-2 (NATO reporting name Hoplite) - Soviet multipurpose helicopter developed by the Mil OKB in the early 1960s.

Mi-2 - the only Soviet helicopter, which was not produced in the USSR. By decision of the Soviet authorities were given the production of Poland.

The Mi-8 (NATO: Hip) - Soviet multipurpose helicopter developed by the Mil OKB at the beginning of all of the same 60s. At the same time purchase of Mi-8 Russian air force continues to this day.
